White Burgundy in the Saturday Telegraph

Archive

The lovely Victoria Moore (who is now writing for the Telegraph) came along to our 2009 Burgundy Tasting and selected a couple of our wines for her recommendations of the vintage. Here is what she said:

Jean-Philippe Fichet Bourgogne Blanc Vieilles Vignes 2009 £145 per 12 IB
If you can afford it, trade up to the Meursault Le Tesson or the Meursault Chevalieres but I’ve bought a case of this intense, minerallic wine whose humble appellation belies its quality.

Jean-Marc Boillot Puligny Montrachet 2009 £295 per 12 IB
Still and calm, like a landscape with long vistas that open up ahead of you.
