Goedhuis is delighhted to sponsor the up-and-coming jockey George Saunders. He is 17 and the grandson of Dick Saunders, who, aged 48, was the oldest jockey to win the Grand National (and an amateur too) in 1982 on Grittar.
George had his first three point to point rides last year including a third place on True Legend owned by his grandmother, Pam Saunders and trained by his aunt, Caroline Bailey in the Pychley Hunt Members race at Guilsborough. Prior to that he has had 16 winners pony racing.
