He particularly praises the southern end of the area – Hermitage and Cornas at the top end and Crozes Hermitage and St Joseph for value.

Copious charged wine, has more intent and content than many, a bold glass filler. Drink 2014 – 2023. 17 points.
Cornas Vieilles Vignes Alain Voge 2011
