Good Sancerre can be truly fantastic and this is made by one of the regions very finest domaines, André Dezat. At a tasting we hosted recently at Goedhuis this was the stand out white wine. This is a Sancerre that possesses a power and precision that sets it above many of its peers. Highly recommended.

For a Pinot Noir that epitomises great value, look no further than this wonderful wine made by one of Mercurey's greatest growers, Jean-Pierre Charton. The warmth of the 2015 vintage gives this old vine cuvée a mid-palate opulence that is just terrific; silky and seductive from start to finish, this is a pure joy to drink!

This discount will remain in place until midnight Thursday 12th July.

**Free UK delivery (except Highlands and Islands) on orders over £300 inc VAT.

      Tasting Notes

      Goedhuis, May 2018

Vincent Charton is a talented young star making a mark in the appellation of Mercurey with his exciting brand of juicy Côte Chalonnaise Pinot Noir. His precocious talents are on full display in this ripe, fruity 2015. The scent of sweet crushed raspberries is followed by a delicious palate of supple hedgerow berry fruit with a little edge of spice. The tannins are ripe and creamy, and are married with the fresh lift of Pinot’s natural acidity. Already drinking superbly.
