    One man’s waste is another man’s treasure, such is the unexpected beauty of Grappa. Made by extracting the delicate aromatics from the leftover skins of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, Ornellaia’s Grappa Reserve is proof that Ornellaia are capable of making a wonderous liquid from anything and everything. Aged for a minimum of three years in the winery’s own barrels, the nose is a rousing medley of cinnamon spice, cocoa beans, and tobacco, yet a delightful fruitiness adds some softness. With a silky, rich texture, the palate is full of liquorice, while the oak ageing adds a delicate vanilla touch to the finish. The only digestif you’ll ever need.

Since being founded in 1981 by Marchese Lodovico Antinori, Ornellaia has firmly established itself as one of the most revered wine estates in the world. Situated on the Tuscan coast, within the iconic Bolgheri appellation, the estate has long been dedicated to producing wines of unrivalled beauty and elegance.
