A perfectionist at heart, Marcel' Couturier’s approach favours low yields, exceptional organic vineyard management and barrel fermentation to produce wines that are impressive not only in concentration but also complexity. This 2022 is a fuller, peaches-and-cream style of Mâconnais with a perfectly balanced lick of freshness which fans of Meursault will love: think of this as a mini-Meursault. Delicious. Low yields, exceptional vineyard management and barrel fermentation (since 2006) produce wines that are not only impressive not only in concentration but also complexity. Pouilly-Loché

At the southern tip of the Mâconnais lies Pouilly Loche - one of a group of five villages amid rolling limestone hills producing serious white wines. The neighbouring vilages of Vinzelles and Fuisse also produce distinguished white wines. As in Pouilly Fuisse there is no hierarchy of wines, but the appellation name may be followed by the name of a specific vineyard.
