Goedhuis, December 2022
This vineyard, like Les Longeroies, is in the north of the commune, on hard Comblanchien limestone and is recognised for producing one of the village’s more powerful wines. Initially it appears a little shy ahead of the gentle progression of savoury and red fruit flavours which build like a pyramid in the palate. The tannins are broad in nature, giving depth and fine layers of complexity on the finish.

Marsannay
The most northerly appellation of the Cote d'Or, Marsannay is also the only appellation authorised to produce red, white and rose wine. Only created in 1987, this is an interesting area where quality is improving. Top producers include Bruno Clair, Meo-Camuzet and Denis Mortet.
