Goedhuis, December 2021
The Gros parcel of Echezeaux is one of the finest in the appellation, planted with 100-year-old vines. Packed with flavours of wild strawberry, mocha, and spice. This has broad shoulders and layered depth, showing a little more muscle than some years. An exceptionally powerful wine, very clearly a Grand Cru with a very long life ahead of it.

Jasper Morris MW, January 2022`, Score: 92-95
50% whole bunch which they have been doing here for a while, and two-thirds new wood. Glowing mid purple. The sample is taken from new wood, which one can see on the nose but not to excess. Bouncy raspberries, something a little smoky behind, showing a bit awkwardly at this early stage, though not without promise.

Region
Echézeaux
One of two Grand Crus within the Flagey-Echezeaux area right in the heart of the Cote de Nuits. Relatively large and consequently diverse for a Grand Cru, the better Echézeaux wines undoubtedly deserve this status. As always in Burgundy vineyard location and grower is critical.
