Producer

Domaine David Duband

David Duband took over from his father as head of the domaine in 1991 and has a very good reputation in Burgundy, specialising in the reds of the Nuits-St-Georges, Gevrey-Chambertin and Vosne-Romanée. The domaine has 14 hectares in total. David believes in the ‘lutte raisonnée' methodof winemaking and uses 50 % new oak for his wines.

Region

Echézeaux

One of two Grand Crus within the Flagey-Echezeaux area right in the heart of the Cote de Nuits. Relatively large and consequently diverse for a Grand Cru, the better Echézeaux wines undoubtedly deserve this status. As always in Burgundy vineyard location and grower is critical.
