New Arrivals & Current Favourites

Please take a look at the new additions and our current favourites, we're sure they won't disappoint.

NV Champagne Paul Goerg Premier Cru Blanc de Blancs | HK$ 295 / bottle

This 100% Chardonnay sourced from the premier cru vineyards around Vertus in the Côte des Blancs is a step up in refinement and complexity and shows off the Goerg group’s skill in the cellar. Brilliant pale lemon yellow with a fine, persistent mousse. Classical Blanc de Blancs characteristics of citrus, orchard fruit, and brioche fill the glass. The base of the blend is 2009, and the palate has a satisfying creamy texture. This modestly priced Blanc de Blancs offers length, breadth and complexity. Goedhuis & Co

2017 Sancerre Domaine Bernard Reverdy | HK$ 150 / bottle

Romain Reverdy has made a wonderful Sancerre in 2017. His vines around the village of Verdigny enjoyed an excellent growing season, which ensured good phenolic ripeness whilst retaining Sancerre’s signature nervous acidity. This wine has a pretty floral elegance, creamy texture, and brisk mineral tension. Goedhuis & Co

2015 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos Deomaine Pinson Freres | HK$ 390 / bottle

A superbly concentrated and intense grand cru, this wine showcases the Pinson penchant for purity. Limey citrus fruit is balanced with creamy Chardonnay flavours. Floral, intense and complexly layered, this is high quality Grand Cru in every way. Goedhuis & Co

2016 Puligny Montrachet Jean-Marc Boillot | HK$ 400 / bottle

Delicate floral white peach aromas. This is a very attractive early-drinking style. It is rounded and easy, with a gentle lemony zest on the finish. Charming. Goedhuis & Co

2015 Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru La Garenne Jean-Marc Boillot | HK$ 560 / bottle

The smooth stone fruit nature of this premier cru makes it earlier drinking compared with some of its cousins. In 2015 it is wonderfully welcoming with ripe, tropical tones of pineapple and grapefruit coming through on a creamy palate. Goedhuis & Co

2016 Eden Rift Estate Chardonnay Cienega Valley | HK$350 / bottle

Fermented in French oak barrels (20% new), its influence is subtle and well-matched by the fruit. A juicy and appetising style of New World Chardonnay with Old World grace. Goedhuis & Co

2016 Ch St Baillon Reserve du Chateau Cotes de Provence Rose | HK$ 125 / bottle

Very pale rose petal pink, this is an absolutely charming example from St Baillon. It is by far and away the best vintage from new owners, the Delon family. It is lightly scented with red berries, wild herbs, and the sea breeze. The palate is crisp and fresh, with a pleasingly round volume and length. The perfect summer glass. Goedhuis & Co

2009 Ch Fonreaud Listrac Medoc | HK$210 / bottle

The generous, ripe, supple vintage of 2009 has produced a Fonréaud of sweet, luscious dark hedgerow fruit. There are the classic left bank smoky cedar notes and an appetisingly savoury tone to the smooth fruit. Goedhuis & Co

2010 Ch d'Issan 3ème Cru Margaux | HK$760 / bottle

Fine fragrant nose, perfect extraction, already beautifully textured, great future, probably the best d'Issan yet. Drink 2016-35. Goedhuis & Co

2005 Ch Grand Puy Lacoste 5ème Cru Pauillac | HK$890 / bottle

In 2005, François-Xavier produced a wine of notable concentration - ripe and rich with black cherry and spicy oak. However, with its underlying minerality and fresh acidity, it is not heavy. Those in the know think that it might even be better than his exceptional 2000. Drink 2012-2025. Goedhuis & Co

2011 Mercurey Vieilles Vignes Jean-Pierre Charton | HK$150 / bottle

These 45 year old vines that go into this cuvée are planted in the southern section of the village, and they produce a very open styled wine with gentle strawberry fruits and soft rounded tannins. An easy style for early drinking. Goedhuis & Co

2012 Charles Audoin Fixin Le Rozier | HK$270 / bottle

A restrained and all but mute nose only grudgingly reveals notes of red and dark pinot fruit, earth and sauvage hints. The underlying minerality is even more prominent than it usually is, with detailed and highly energetic flavors that possess good drive as the tannins are firm and mildly austere. This is old school Fixin. Goedhuis & Co

2012 Vosne Romanée Vieilles Vignes Maison Roche de Bellène | HK$370 / bottle

An overtly spicy nose combines notes of red cherry, anise, cinnamon and discreet earth nuances. There is excellent density to the firmly structured medium-bodied flavors that possess good levels of dry extract that buffers the ripe tannic spine on the moderately complex and persistent finish. Drink 2020. Goedhuis & Co

2014 Chambolle Musigny A F Gros | HK$490 / bottle

The smooth stone fruit nature of this premier cru makes it earlier drinking compared with some of its cousins. In 2015 it is wonderfully welcoming with ripe, tropical tones of pineapple and grapefruit coming through on a creamy palate. Goedhuis & Co

2010 Viña Real Rioja Reserva CVNE| HK$220 / bottle

This Reserva came out top in our blind tasting of Riojas. It has everything we admire in Rioja: upfront red fruit on the nose, a little spice of oak, and complex savoury flavours on the palate resulting from its 2 years’ ageing in barrel. 90% Tempranillo gives it a juicy cherry substance and fine, silky tannins; and the small splash of Garnacha, Graciano, and Mazuelo adds depth and freshness. 2010 is a particularly successful vintage in Rioja, and this example is drinking perfectly now. RED | USA & New Zealand

2016 Felton Road Bannockburn Pinot Noir Central Otago | HK$375 / bottle

Felton Road has reigned as the first and last word in Central Otago Pinot Noir for years. This is an exemplary display of New Zealand’s appeal: an intriguing blend of sweet ripeness and savoury notes. Ginger-spiced rhubarb flavours and supple tannins surround its soft-centred core. It has an attractive freshness and easy charm. Goedhuis & Co

2016 Eden Rift Estate Pinot Noir Cienega Valley | HK$380 / bottle

This is an exciting new addition to our list this year. These vineyards in the cool Cienega Valley, California’s smallest AVA, have been under vine since 1849. Its mere 20 miles from the Pacific Coast give the region a cooling maritime influence, and its limestone soils are perfect for growing Pinot Noir. The 2016 is a delicately violet-scented, strawberry-fruited Pinot Noir. There is a supple ripeness to the fruit set against plenty of acidity thanks to the valley’s deep diurnal range, where the fruit cools down over night and enjoy chilly mornings before being drenched in that gorgeous Californian sun. It is thus a wine of “lift and brightness”, owner Christian Pillsbury explains, rather than density and power. Goedhuis & Co
