New Arrivals & Current Favourites

Please take a look at the new additions and our current favourites, we're sure they won't disappoint.

Champagne Paul Goerg Premier Cru Blanc de Blancs  | HK$ 295 / bottle
This 100% Chardonnay sourced from the premier cru vineyards around Vertus in the Côte des Blancs is a step up in refinement and complexity and shows off the group’s skill in the cellar. Brilliant pale lemon yellow with a fine, persistent mousse. Classical Blanc de Blancs characteristics of citrus, orchard fruit, and brioche fill the glass, and the palate has a satisfying creamy texture. A pure style with length, breadth and complexity. Goedhuis & Co

Louis Roederer Brut Premier  | HK$ 395 / bottle
40% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Meunier. This acclaimed Champagne house remains a family run operation, and consistently delivers one of the very best non-vintage blends, with a high proportion of Pinot Noir (40% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Meunier). This has a rich, creamy texture with a lovely lemon finish. A small proportion is matured in oak cask, and the wine spends three years on lees before disgorgement. This ageing process, combined with a good proportion of reserve wine in the final blend, gives this wine excellent complexity and definition. This is a sumptuous, plush style of Champagne. Goedhuis & Co

2016 Sancerre Domaine Bernard Reverdy  | HK$ 155 / bottle
Romain Reverdy has made a brilliant Sancerre in 2016. His vines around the village of Verdigny enjoyed an excellent growing season, which ensured terrific phenolic ripeness whilst retaining Sancerre’s signature nervous acidity. This wine has a beautiful floral elegance, creamy texture, and brisk mineral tension. Goedhuis & Co

2015 Billaud-Simon Chablis | HK$ 165 / bottle
Shimmering lime colour. A beautifully approachable style with hints of lemon sherbet. This is a bright zestful wine with a fine clarity of fruit and an abundant appealing finish. Goedhuis & Co

2015 Jean-Marc Boillot Montagny 1er Cru Vieux Chateau | HK$ 195/ bottle
A hugely versatile wine: open, opulent nose with hints of spice and stone fruit.  A creamy smooth palate with lovely freshness gives this wine a lot of charm. Goedhuis & Co

2015 Jean-Marc Boillot Ruly 1er Cru Rabource | HK$ 195 / bottle
Rabourcé is the most well-known of the Rully 1ers Crus, and in 2014 this wine is an absolute gem. It has aromas of sweet nectarine - like the sticky juice that runs down your wrists in summer - combined with a vibrant dash of acidity on the palate all held together by a restrained, creamy texture. SuperbGoedhuis & Co

2015 Domaine Pinson Freres 1er Cru Fourchaume | HK$ 200 / bottle
The Pinson Fourchaume doesn’t see any oak, since in Laurent’s view the warmer location of this vineyard doesn’t lend itself to oak élevage. The ripeness of the fruit is apparent in this wine; it is a full and abundant style with hints of acacia honey and light unsalted butter. Broad and complete, whilst remaining fresh. Goedhuis & Co

2015 Patrick Javillier Bourgogne Cuvee des Forgets | HK$ 200 / bottle
A ripe and agreeably fresh nose combines notes of pear, apple and citrus elements. There is fine richness and volume for what this is to the delicious middle weight flavors that possess enough underlying material and acid support to warrant allowing this to slumber in a cool cellar for a few years. Drink 2019+  Goedhuis & Co

2015 Billaud Simon Chablis 1er Cru Mont de Milieu | HK$ 250 / bottle
One of Chablis’s most prestigious premiers crus, the high proportion of red clay in the soil provides for an earthy texture with layered complexity. Golden yellow in colour, this 2015 has a more substantial ripe fruit nose with hints of guava and melon. In the mouth it is broad and fleshy, intense and long. Goedhuis & Co

2015 Paul Pillot St Aubin 1er Cru Les Charmois | HK$ 350 / bottle
The very mineral nature of Charmois energises this cuvée in 2015 and there is a defining freshness underpinning the fruit. Lemon yellow in colour, the gorgeous attack of tropical fruit aromas lingers on the palate. Goedhuis & Co

2015 Paul Pillot Chassagne Montrachet Mazures | HK$ 385 / bottle
A great wine and the natural weight of fruit that this vineyard achieves very much suits Jean-Philippe's style of wine making. Bright citrus fruits, tremendous harmony and a lovely bite of freshness on the finish. Goedhuis & Co

2015 Jean-Marc Boillot Puligny Montrachet | HK$ 420 / bottle
This is a classic and accessible example of village Puligny. A distinct scent of jasmine perfumes the nose. There is a precision to the stony nectarine fruit on the palate. Forward and inviting. Goedhuis & Co

2015 Patrick Javillier Meursault Les Tillets | HK$ 445 / bottle
The Tillets parcel is known amongst the elder vignerons of Meursault for its knack of comfortably sitting out the drier summer months, producing wines with a natural elegance, thanks to its excellent drainage. It has appealing creamy aromas with hints of mandarin orange. This is an impressive village cuvée, bold and ripe with a long, weighted finish. Goedhuis & Co

2015 Jean-Philippe Fichet Meursault Les Gruyaches | HK$ 495 / bottle
This humidity of this spot on the Puligny border served it well in 2015. Hints of pineapple and Cornish clotted cream. This is a full and generous wine, with deliciously appealing flavours of warm freshly buttered croissants. Its richness is beautifully complemented by a subtle degree of Puligny freshness. Goedhuis & Co

2015 Jean-Marc Boillot Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru La Garenne  | HK$ 680 / bottle
The smooth stone fruit nature of this premier cru makes it earlier drinking compared with some of its cousins. In 2015 it is wonderfully welcoming with ripe, tropical tones of pineapple and grapefruit coming through on a creamy palate.  Goedhuis & Co

ROSE WINES | Provence

2016 Ch St Baillon Reserve du Chateau Cotes de Provence Rose | HK$ 125 / bottle
Very pale rose petal pink, this is an absolutely charming example from St Baillon. It is by far and away the best vintage from new owners, the Delon family. It is lightly scented with red berries, wild herbs, and the sea breeze. The palate is crisp and fresh, with a pleasingly round volume and length. The perfect summer glass. Goedhuis & Co

2012 Ch Ferran, Pessac-Léognan | HK$ 165 / bottle
Notes of tobacco leaf, roasted herbs, red and black currants are found in this medium-bodied, straightforward 2012. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.   Robert Parker, April 2013

2012 Ch Paveil De Luze Cru Bourgeois Margaux | HK$ 200 / bottle
This Margaux 2012 is just entering its drinking window, and is absolutely charming in style. Graceful sweet fruit, powdery tannins, lithe body, and excellent, fine concentration make for a precise, neat, and hugely pleasing claret. The best Paveil de Luze in recent years. Robert Parker was full of praise for the 2012: “under-rated and could easily qualify as a classified growth”. Goedhuis & Co

2011 La Reserve de Leoville Barton, St Julien  | HK$ 225 / bottle
This is impressive, with blueberry and blackberry character, plus hints of licorice. Full body with silky tannins and a chewy finish. Almost smoky. Needs at least three to four years of bottle age. Second wine of Léoville-Barton. 90 points James Suckling, August 2014

2010 Ch Cantemerle 5eme Cru Haut-Medoc | HK$ 390 / bottle
Finely expressed, deep but lifted and potentially complex fruit, refreshing acidity and firmness to add length to its habitual charm. Drink 2017-26. Goedhuis & Co

2008 Ch Branaire Ducru 4eme Cru St Julien | HK$ 450 / bottle
Youthful and vibrant dark bramble fruit and sweet juicy cherries. It is a discreet, refined wine that is sculpted with mineral undertones. Finishes on dark chocolate and floral flavours. A classy, sturdy effort that will please collectors of classic Bordeaux. Goedhuis & Co

2009 Ch Phelan Segur St Estephe | HK$ 495/ bottle
Black red, big smoky, slightly gamey bacony nose, lots of lifted blackcurrant fruit, good supple, vigorous fruit and good length. Drink 2014-20. Goedhuis & Co

2008 Ch Grand Puy Lacoste 6eme Cru Pauillac | HK$ 520 / bottle
Black red, big, smoky, almost leathery fruit, really great purity and intensity of flavour and great freshness and depth, with the tannins perfectly absorbed. Drink 2016-35. Goedhuis & Co

2013 Jean-Pierre Charton Mercurey Vieilles Vignes | HK$ 150 / bottle
Bright ruby red colour.  This is full of crisp bright red cherry flavours, very open and striking, with gentle sweetness on the finish. Goedhuis & Co

2013 Jean-Pierre Charton Mercurey 1er Cru Clos du Roy | HK$ 175 / bottle
A strong masculine style of Pinot Noir, with sumptuous wild forest flavours. It has ripe, earthy tannins and a generous body. This is a concentrated and weighty style from the Côte Chalonnaise, with a long and full finish. Goedhuis & Co

2012 Charles Audoin Marsannay Clos du Roy | HK$ 190 / bottle
This offers a step up in aromatic elegance with its spice and fresh dark raspberry liqueur, earth and black cherry scents. There is good volume and mid-palate concentration to the suave yet attractively detailed flavors that possess a touch of austerity on the balanced and solidly persistent mineral-inflected finish. Drink 2018+ Goedhuis & Co

2012 Charles Audoin Marsannay Les Favieres | HK$195 / bottle
One of the village’s most central vineyards, this is a classic example of why the reputation of this relatively unknown appellation is fast on the rise. Stunning aromas of raspberries and strawberries, this has a delicious purity of fruit, with tremendous refinement and a great long full finish. Huge potential. Goedhuis & Co

2012 Charles Audoin Fixin Le Rozier | HK$270 / bottle
A restrained and all but mute nose only grudgingly reveals notes of red and dark pinot fruit, earth and sauvage hints. The underlying minerality is even more prominent than it usually is, with detailed and highly energetic flavors that possess good drive as the tannins are firm and mildly austere. This is old school Fixin. Drink 2019+ Goedhuis & Co

2008 Perdrix Alain Michelot Nuits St Georges 1er Cru Aux Champs | HK$375/ bottle
Michelot is a new addition to our wider Burgundy portfolio this year, and as well as offering their latest releases en primeur we have purchased some older stock from the domaine’s cellars. This 2008 is from one of Nuits St Georges’s highest vineyards. With aromas of wild berries this wine has a feeling of natural ripeness balanced by a great mineral bite. A bold mid-palate finishes with toned elegance. This lovely cuvée is in the prime of drinking. Goedhuis & Co

2013 Eitenne Barret Croze Hermitage | HK$ 120 / bottle
A full and structured Syrah from Etienne Pochon of Château de Curson in this Northern Rhône appellation. Plump and concentrated, this has a weighty dark berry fruit palate, and a robust, tannic length. Goedhuis & Co
