Goedhuis & Co opened its Hong Kong office in March 2008, two days after the HK Government’s bold decision to abolish its tax on wine, which in 2006 stood at 80%. The aim was to service the growing interest in fine wine from in the Asian market, with special focus on Hong Kong.
We have carefully selected a Hong Kong Wine List of delicious everyday drinking and fine wines for immediate delivery and enjoyment. The entire Goedhuis stock and broking list is also available for shipping out of the UK. We organise regular consolidated shipments and can also air freight wines required within a shorter time frame.
Our clients are a mix of private individuals and organisations as diverse as financial institutions, restaurants, and private member clubs. We are committed to discovering and promoting unheralded producers from all around the world as well as working with the most famous established estates’ First Growth Clarets and Grand Cru Burgundies. This approach ensures continual sourcing of the very best wines from the very best vintages, and constant development of the range of everyday wines which offer both exceptionally delicious drinking and value that rivals the blue chips of the wine world.
