En Primeur | St Aubin

Due west of Puligny and Chassagne lies the little, picturesque village of St. Aubin. It was one of the last appellations created in only 1970 but has since created an excellent reputation for good value well made Burgundy that can replicate Puligny. In recent years quality has been soaring and St Aubin is getting the attention it rightly deserves. We’re limiting purchases to 1 or 2 cases per wine due to high demand. Please contact your account manager or wine@goedhuis.com to discuss larger quantities.

This 1er Cru vineyard borders Chassagne Montrachet and the vines have the deep-rooted structure of its more famous neighbour. Impressive in style, this wine benefits from Bruno’s judicious use of barrel élevage of just 10 months and approximately 20% new oak. Creamy, with a bouquet of fresh croissant. A mouth-filling impression of richness expresses warmth and ripeness of fruit through to the finish.
