    Les Peuillets consists of very sandy soil which freely drains after heavy rainfall and keeps its warmth throughout the summer. A wild and gamey style with earthy hedgerow fruits, forward in nature with an open sweetness, accentuated by flavours of vanilla and a hint of sweet, spiced oak.

Against the backdrop of the property’s historical origins, with Cistercian cellars dating back to the 12th century, this dynamic domaine is investing extensively in both the vineyards and the winery, reaching new heights in quality. Stéphane’s wines are classically made. The Chardonnay is fermented in barrel and aged on lees for 12 months before bottling. The reds are beautiful wines, with all the dimensions to age.Read less

The picturesque village of Savigny-lès-Beaune, just to the north of Beaune, is a relatively prolific producer in Burgundian terms. Less serious than its neighbours, Pommard and Volnay, these are nonethless delicious wines - perfumed, delicate and elegant. A tiny amount of white is produced.
