Louis Roederer Brut Premier NV
This acclaimed Champagne house remains a family run operation, and consistently delivers one of the very best non-vintage blends, with a high proportion of Pinot Noir. This has a rich, creamy consistency with a lovely lemon clean finish.
40% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Meunier. A small proportion is matured in oak cask, and the wine spends 3 years on lees before discouragement. This ageing process, combined with a high proportion of reserve wine in the final blend, gives this wine excellent complexity and definition. With a generous dosage of 10g/l this is a sumptuous, plush style of Champagne which makes for the perfect Christmas fizz.
