  • Jamie Goode, September 2022, Score: 93

Textured and finely spiced with lovely citrus fruit, as well as some pear and spice. This is fine-grained and mealy, and has a nice weight in the mouth.

  • AK, September 2022, Score: 93

Grown at 350m altitude, this bursts with notions of ripest, juiciest fruit on the nose, overlaid with a note of summer blossom and a touch of hazelnut. The palate is totally fluid, full of juiciness and a seductive note of tangerine fullness. Taut texture provides a wonderful backdrop, all is outlined by freshness and subtle oak plays a supportive role.

Region

Stellenbosch

An important region in South Africa, named after the beautiful town at its centre, it is the hub of viticultural activity and learning in the country. Only slightly warmer than Bordeaux, this is an ideal climate for grape growing, and produces many impressive Bordeaux blends, as well as Chenin Blancs.
