Current owners Anthony and Olive Hamilton Russell took over from Anthony's father in 1994 who planted the first vines in 1976. This 52 hectares estate seeks to make terroir-driven wines that express the beauty of this privileged site. Head winemaker Emul Ross (formerly of Cape Chamonix in Franschhoek) has converted the estate to organic farming, although they also adhere to biodynamic principles.Read less
