    This south-easterly facing vineyard producers a rich and fuller styled St Aubin, with aromas of fresh white peach and stone fruit. The creamy roundness recedes as a fresh tension develops. Good length with plenty of backbone.

Saint Aubin

Due west of Puligny and Chassagne lies the little, picturesque village of St. Aubin. With the neighbouring village of Gamay, it produces 2/3 white wine and 1/3 red wine over 230 hectares of vines of which over 3/4 are premier cru. It was one of the last appellations created in only 1970 but has since created an excellent reputation for good value well made Burgundy that can replicatePuligny. Some of the most expressive vineyards are En Remilly and Les Murgers des Dents de Chien.
