    The only disappointment with Clos St Denis is its size - at just 6 hectares it is Morey St Denis’s smallest Grand Cru. Respected for being the most floral and finest of the commune’s great vineyards, this is a beautifully graceful wine. With a medley of blackberries and chocolate cake, there is generous fruit showing off the warmth of the year, kept in check by the exemplary finesse of the vineyard. The brush of acidity on the finish keeps the palate lively and gives a wine of perfect balance.
