  • Burghound, June 2022, Score: 93-95

Fresh and ripe aromas are comprised by notes of honeysuckle, citrus confit, spice and apple compote plus a discreet dollop of wood. There is borderline painful intensity to the dense, serious and equally palate staining medium weight flavors that are less obviously mineral-driven though they are just as fine on the hugely long finish. This is a gorgeous BBM. Drink: 2032+

  • Jasper Morris MW, January 2022, Score: 96-98

Fine pale primrose colour, a nose of both depth and elegance. A suggestion of power in restraint. The palate delivers that burst of energy in harmony with the quintessential grace of Bienvenues. The fruit is on the fresher side yet with a texture that denotes ripeness. It is very persistent, and shows its complexity through the nuances, the wavelets of fresh but ripe yellow fruit which reappear at the finish. From the domaine’s oldest vines, this is really lovely.
