Goedhuis, July 2022
Riecine di Riecine is produced from the oldest vineyard sites on the Riecine estate with total production a mere 2500 bottles. Hand picked, lightly crushed and fermented in concrete Nomblot tanks, the Riecine di Riecine is all about terroir, subtlety and nuance. Freshly cut flower, ripe cherry, herb and mint flavours dance lightly across the palate leading to a complex lengthy finish. This is Gaiole Sangiovese at its most expressive.

Antonio Galloni, July 2022, Score: 94
The 2019 Riecine di Riecine, 100% Sangiovese, is a very pretty, classy wine. Crushed flowers, sweet red berry fruit, mint and orange peel give this translucent, expressive 2019 lovely complexity and nuance to match its mid-weight personality. Drink 2024 - 2036
