    Goedhuis, May 2022

This charming 7.5 hectare estate situated on the Right Bank of Bordeaux within the commune of Blaye is a fine example Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, showing plush, darkly sweet Merlot fruits, with striking body from Petit Verdot and a lively, rewarding freshness on the finish, highlighting the overall appeal of this hugely successful Bordeaux vintage.

Region

Côtes de Blaye

A very old wine producing region dating back to Roman times, Côtes de Blaye is a fortified town on the right bank of the Gironde River opposite Margaux. The soil is primarily limestone based with occasional clay and gravel areas and Merlot dominates most red wine blends with Sauvignon and Sémillon dominating the whites.
