Goedhuis, November 2018
This is another excellent village parcel in Vosne Romanée situated in the vineyards that bleed into Nuits St Georges at the southern end of the village. Of all the domaine’s village Vosne cuvées, this is the most serious. It has fragrant red berries on the nose and a mineral, juicy drive of freshness through the palate.

Neal Martin, January 2019,
Score: 89-91The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Aux Réas has a slightly purer and more sophisticated bouquet than the Les Chalandins, the 40% new oak neatly assimilated here. The palate is well balanced with smooth tannin, blood orange and a tang of marmalade infusing the red fruit. The plush, quite forward finish feels very generous. 2021 - 2035

Burghound, April 2020,
Score: 89A subtle but not invisible application of wood easily allows the spiced plum, raspberry and hoisin aromas to shine. The attractively textured and energetic medium-bodied flavors possess a supple and seductive mid-palate while delivering very good length on the sappy and reasonably complex finish that flashes a touch of youthful austerity. Outstanding. Drink 2025+

Score: 89-91Moderate wood still allows the spiced plum, raspberry and hoisin aromas to shine. Domaine Anne-Françoise Gros

The name Gros is one of the most famous in the Côte de Nuits, synonymous with great Vosne Romaneé. The original Gros domaine is now divided amongst four family members. Anne-Françoise, daughter of Jean Gros, married into another great Burgundy dynasty, the Parent family of Pommard. In 1998 François Parent and Anne Françoise combined their domaines to create a superb 10 hectare property comprising some of the finest terroirs in the Côte d’Or. Today their children Caroline and Mathias run the estate, with Mathias ever experimenting and pushing boundaries in both vineyard and cellar.
Region
Vosne Romanée
The vineyards of the modest village of Vosne Romanée are arguably the most sought after in the Côte d'Or. It is host to excellent Village and Premier Cru wines, but it is its most famous Grand Crusthat truly stand out: Romanée-Conti, La Tâche, Richebourg, Grands Echézeaux, Echézeaux, Romanée St. Vivant and La Romanée as well as Cros Parentoux, a Premier Cru vineyard which attracts Grand Cru attention (and prices). Vosne-Romanée can be remarkably robust and powerful, yet be charming and fleshy giving it one of the most diverse styles of the region.
