    Waxy, metallic, super-fresh. Gives some honey on the palate with loads of slate and bitter herb flavour too – fantastic stuff. Quite light and lean in body, but so flavoursome. Drink 2021-2021. (RH)

Domaine Guiberteau

Domaine Guiberteau was founded in the early 20th Century by Clément Manguin, the great-grandfather of the current winemaker, Romain. He was mentored by the legendary Nady Foucault of Clos Rougeard fame, and is also a very good friend of Benjamin Dagueneau, of Silex fame. The estate is divided equally between his Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc grapes. The complexity, minerality and freshness of the Guiberteau Chenin Blancs make them some of the best-value bottles available from France.
