Bright medium yellow with a greenish tinge. Cooler aromas of lime ice, white flowers and fresh herbs. Dense, even glyceral, in the mouth, but with juicy lemony acidity giving the wine a bracing, youthfully disjointed character. Pio Boffa told me he picked this on the early side as he now wants to emphasize fruit in this wine. There's certainly some green character here, and strong acidity, but I'd rather follow this style in bottle than the riper 2009
