Burghound, January 2003, Score: 88-91
2001 Chapelle-Chambertin: (from a .60 ha parcel). There is decidedly more weight and depth here with racy, intense, superbly elegant raspberry and red pinot fruits that lead to acceptably concentrated, firm, quite dusty flavors underpinned by ripe tannins and excellent finishing intensity. Solid if not sensational quality. (88-91)/2009-16

As Alexandre says “we want our wines to taste the maximum of the true fruit and terroir flavours that nature provides us with".Read less

Chapelle Chambertin
One of the nine Grand Crus vineyards within the Gevrey Chambertin area. Chapelle-Chambertin's vineyards are on gentle slopes, sheltered from the elements by woods to the north. The thin rocky soil forces the vines to work hard. The exceptional wines produced in Chapelle-Chambertin are complex, powerful and incredibly long-lasting.
