After the travails of 2015 and 2016, Burgundy is back, with a set of stunning whites and beautiful, classical reds produced in healthy quantities. The wines were a delight to taste from barrel and demand is sure to be high.

As always, the major launch of our En Primeur campaign will be in January. We will send out a preview of our full brochure during the first week of January, and the campaign itself will launch at 9am GMT on Tuesday 8th January 2019.

We will offer certain wines during December, if we get the prices early. These are likely to include our four brilliant Chablis producers: Droin, Billaud-Simon, Pinson and Pommier, and couple of White Burgundy domaines from the Côte d’Or. The 2017 white wines are very highly regarded and this will be a great opportunity to get a preview of the delights to come.

As previously mentioned, for the vast majority of wines quantities are back up to “normal” levels. This does not mean that there will suddenly be grands crus aplenty. Many of these wines, and indeed some of the premiers crus, are produced in miniscule quantities even at full production levels, so will continue to be allocated.

Allocated wines are offered first to regular previous buyers of those wines, secondly to loyal clients with an established buying record, and finally to new clients buying extensively across the vintage at all price points.

The sooner we have a wish list from you, the easier it will be to accommodate your requests. If you are happy to confirm a set budget in advance this will allow us to make appropriate recommendations and help secure sought after wines for your cellar.

With the exception of the pre-releases no orders will be confirmed before Tuesday 8th January 2019.
