En Primeur | Louis Jadot 2019

We are delighted to offer the great house of Louis Jadot in Beaune of which William Kelley, the Wine Advocate's Burgundy critic, has said “I'm inclined to single out 2019 as the most successful I've ever tasted at this address… Frédéric Barnier has presided over a small but superb vintage at Louis Jadot."

Louis Jadot shows that size and quality really can go hand in hand in Burgundy. Not only do they own 60 of the finest hectares in the Côte d’Or, they also have one of the world’s most impressive wineries situated on the edge of Beaune. Amphitheatre like in structure; it marries beauty with practicality and allows chief wine maker Frédéric Barnier to craft an exemplary range of wines.

2019 was a triumphant year for Jadot, with the low yields but high quality and fabulous concentration seen across the region. These wines have not only met with high praise from us, but also all of the critics. With some sought after appellations and vineyards, including two Grands Crus this delicious range will offer huge joy.
