Burgundy En Primeur 2019 | Methuselahs, Jeroboams & Magnums from Roche de Bellene

We are delighted to offer some exciting large formats from Maison Roche de Bellene. From village level to Premier Cru and Grand Cru, winemaker Nicolas Potel has excelled in 2019, his wines are fresh and precise with silky, bright fruit.

We often get asked for large formats of mature Burgundy but are rarely able to help as they are so difficult to find. The best and safest way to ensure that you have them is to buy on release. Few Burgundy growers bottle large formats but luckily for us Nicolas Potel loves a big bottle. So here are eight of our favourite cuvées offered in magnums, jeroboams and, for the first time in over a decade, mighty methuselahs.

Not only are big bottles incredibly good fun, but they can also age for much longer than the standard 75cl size. In fact, Methuselah reputedly lived to the age of 969, the longest of all figures mentioned in the Bible! Although we don't recommend leaving your big bottles quite this long...

Don't miss this opportunity to order some of Burgundy’s most sought-after wines in these impressive, rarely seen formats.
