Castello del Terriccio | The Tuscan Dream

June 30th 2015

Castello del Terriccio is located 30 miles to the south of Pisa on the Tuscan coast, and just to the north of the famed Super Tuscan area of Bolgheri; it is intrinsically beautiful in every way. June 26th 2015

Moulin Touchais tasting with Richard Kelley MW

June 25th 2015

The estate is now under the stewardship of the 8th generation of the Touchais family, with cellars dug into the ancient soils of the Coteaux du Layon appellation in the Loire. Richard explained how the cellars beneath the modest bourgeois-fronted house contain a staggering labyrinth of two million bottles which together make up the rarest of collections, with vintages stretching back not just decades, but many generations; the oldest dating back to the mid-19th century.
