We were delighted to welcome 300 customers to our Mid-Autumn Hong Kong Portfolio Wine Tasting at The Space, 210 Hollywood Road, Sheung Wan on the 13th October. This fantastic location is owned and run by the tirelessly energetic Mandy D’Abo where an amazing exhibition of Australian art by the incredibly talented Joshua Yeldham is hanging and can be seen in the background of some of these photos.
We were also delighted that the Chairman, Johnny Goedhuis, could make an appearance on his way back from Singapore, looking as youthful as ever. We showed a wide range of wines from our Portfolio including some of the new arrivals from Domaine Jean-Noel Gagnard (for who we are now the exclusive agent in Hong Kong), which arrived just in time and were some of the stars of the show. While from Burgundy, we had Billaud Simon’s Chablis, Puligny Montrachet Louis Carillon and Hudelot Noellat, Drouhin Laroze, and JM Boillot all had wines on show. Bordeaux was well represented by Chateaux Fonbel, Batailley, Les Ormes de Pez, Lagrange and Leoville Poyferre and new world wines such as Hanzell’s Chardonnay and Pinot Noir also showed extremely well.
