- Goedhuis, October 2009

- A poised and pretty white that is plush yet thoroughly uplifting. Its perfumed nose of honeysuckle and peach blossom draws one into its fresh and tender palate. It finishes long and pure on aromatic spice.
- Jancis Robinson, November 2009, Score: 16.5

- Mid straw/pale gold. Honey, putty and interest on the nose. Lots of acidity and spritz. Very charming and competent. Rather sprightlier than most white Châteauneuf. Quite persistent.
- Robert Parker, October 2009, Score: 93

- The 2008 Chateauneuf du Pape blanc did not go through malolactic fermentation (a choice the Perrins make depending on vintage conditions and intrinsic acidity). A blend of 80% Roussanne and the rest Grenache Blanc and other white varietals, this beauty offers up notes of nectarines, orange marmalade, rose petals, and honeysuckle as well as terrific richness, slightly more acidity than usual, and an exuberant, honeyed, full-bodied style. Drink it over the next 5-7 years or longer.
