This little known property was born in 1996 as the result of an detailed search for a property in Pomerol by the Dauriac family helped by the friendly perspicacity of Michel Rolland. Grown upon the four best Pomerol terroirs of blue clay, clay-sand, gravel and sand ; the blend which gives the wine it's characteristic complex subtlety. It is produced from a five hectare vineyard, planted with 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. As the name suggests, the wine is refined and elegant in the purest tradition of great Pomerols.
