- Refined and poised, this St Veran is Chardonnay at its purest. Fresh and lively with crisp orchard fruit, lemon zest and notable minerality, this wine can quench a thirst and accompany grilled seafood or roast chicken with the greatest of ease. Delicious.

- A perfectly delicious white burgundy of a minor appellation but colossal charm. It has a vibrant yet subtle spine of acidity (to turn gamy if the wine were to be cellared for a few more years) of under-ripe ogen melon, slightly creamy. The wood merely brushes the lips of the wine. It is a very satisfying experience for the money.
Saint-Véran
The vineyards of St Veran lie both to the north and south of the Pouilly Fuisse appellation at the southern tip of the Mâconnais. Only white wines made from the Chardonnay grape qualify. The wines have more body and structure than a Mâcon Villages wine. They rarely have the power and structure to rival Pouilly Fuisse, but can represent excellent value.
