Instantly alluring with notes of roasted coffee and fleshy red plums and blackberries. On the palate, it is fresh and focused with excellent minerality and purity. Its linear, less opulent character gives it definition, soul and a sense of realness. Stands out from the crowd. Drink 2011-2020

Dark crimson. Serious nose (Julia found the meatiness almost brett-y) and quite gentle black fruits on the palate. Pretty dry finish after rather a sweet start. A fruity core. Drink 2012-16.
Wine Spectator, Score: 88-91

Soft and round, with lovely texture. Medium- to full-bodied, with berry, currant and chocolate flavors and a long, caressing finish. Delicious already.
