- Goedhuis, April 2009, Score: 89-92

- Deep, fruity and plump, this medium-full bodied wine is mouthfilling, moreish and just so easy to like. No hard edges in sight. Just lots of ample, velvety fruit and ripe tannins. Despite its upfront appeal, it offers impressive concentration and length suggesting that this will be approachable young yet will have the potential to age. It finishes on black cherry and chocolate. Absolutely delicious.
- Wine Spectator, April 2009, Score: 86-89

- Subtle raspberry and mineral character, with medium body and a fresh finish. A balanced, fruity and refined Puygueraud. Half the normal harvest. 70 percent Merlot, 25 percent Cabernet Franc, 5 percent Malbec.
