    From the clay-limestone soils, just across the river from the Hermitage hill, this 2022 is a textbook Crozes that is deep, rich and succulent. The palate is bursting with juicy wild strawberries black olive and liquorice. The palate is lively thanks to chalky tannins and a bright freshness. Enjoy in its youth over the next five to ten years. Drink 2025 – 2035.

    The 2022 Crozes-Hermitage opens with raspberry jam and black cherry mixed with minty undertones. Light- to medium-bodied, this is a fruit-driven and polished Crozes-Hermitage framed by low levels of soft tannins. Raspberry flavors linger on the juicy finish. Drink 2024-2027.

Crozes-Hermitage

The northern Rhône's largest appellation, Crozes-Hermitage produces approximately 8 times more than its more distinguished neighbour, Hermitage. Crozes, too, has both red and whites similar to Hermitage and in many ways is very similar in style, though less concentrated and complex. Plump, silky and smooth, they are usually made for early consumption; however certain producers have been known to make Crozes-Hermitages which need to cellared for several years and can be further kept for up to a decade.
