Delivery & duty
The wines shown on this site are, with the exception of En Primeur, available for purchase and immediate delivery. Orders received through the website are for UK delivery only. Wines are available by the case. We are not able to split cases. However many wines are available under bond.
Delivery
Normal Terms & Conditions apply. Orders received before 11.30am on weekdays will, for deliveries within the M25, be delivered the following working day, and three to four working days after the date of order elsewhere in the UK (with the exception of Highlands and Islands). Deliveries elsewhere will take from five to seven working days.
Delivery is FREE in the UK (except Highlands and Islands) for all orders over £250 ex-VAT. Orders under £250 will be charged at £15 ex-VAT. Deliveries elsewhere will be charged at cost.
Duty
Wines bought In Bond will not include Duty and VAT and can be stored by our independent storage company Private Reserves Ltd at a current cost of £9.50 ex-VAT per case per annum. If you decide to take delivery duty and VAT at the prevailing Government rates will be payable. These charges are at present £19.26 per dozen for wine and 15% respectively. Carriage will be charged at cost.
En Primeur
This wine is offered In Bond England (i.e. all shipping and bottling charges are included) as the wine is still in barrel. On arrival, wine can be delivered directly to you or stored Under Bond by our independent storage company Private Reserves at a current cost of £9.50 ex-VAT per case per annum. If you decide to take delivery duty and VAT at the prevailing Government rates will be payable. These charges are at present £19.26 per dozen and 15% respectively. Carriage will be charged at cost.
