The name Louis Roederer, synonymous with prestige and heritage, instils sentiments of quality and tradition. Founded in 1776, this triumph of a Champagne house remains one of the last significant independently run estates of the region. Ch de Pez St Estèphe 2016 | £140 per 6 IB

June 29th 2017

Ch-de-pez

The House of Louis Roederer took Ch de Pez under its wing in the mid-1990s. Since then this Cru Bourgeois St Estèphe estate has been nurtured into one of the jewels of the unclassified châteaux in the appellation. Whilst many top crus classés began to release at up to 30% above their 2015 prices towards the end of the campaign, Ch de Pez was one of the most reasonable estates in the Médoc, only increasing by 5%, and represents the brilliance of St Estèphe 2016s at just £140 per 6 bottles.
