Yes, yes, we are biased, but we believe our collaborations with these fantastic producers have created two top drinking Burgundies for immediate enjoyment now and throughout the winter.

We approached the hugely talented Vincent Charton with the remit to produce a wine for us that embraces everything that we look for in an exceptional entry level Pinot Noir. He has really come up trumps. Selected from specific vineyard parcels within their 9 ha estate and produced solely from Mercurey fruit, this is a very easy drinking and medium weight Pinot with rounded vibrant red fruits and a soft finish.

Jean-Philippe has crafted a wine from the very best Cote de Beaune fruit balancing the weight of Chassagne, the opulence of Meursault and the vibrancy and purity of Puligny. A careful blend of barrel and stainless steel elevage from the fantastic 2013 vintage, this wine is as fine an ambassador for the region as can be found.

Bright shining cherry red colour. This is full of wonderfully open full red fruit aromas, raspberries and fresh cherries. Specially created for us by one of Meursault’s most acclaimed growers, Jean-Philippe Fichet, to represent classic Côte d’Or white wine. Lemon yellow colour, this balances a lovely citrus freshness on the nose with hints of almond and fresh Jersey cream. In the palate the wine is beautifully accessible, weighty without being over the top and has a deliciously fresh and long finish. Drink 2017 – 2018.
