Following on from the success of the 2012 vintage, we are delighted to announce the arrival of the very classy 2013. Meursault’s master of White Burgundy, Jean-Philippe Fichet, has yet again created a wine that highlights the very best characteristics of white from the Côte de Beaune. The 2013 is a little more refined than the 2012, with delicious purity of fruit, yet no loss of the natural weight and texture that we all seek from the finest Chassagnes and Meursaults. Oporto & a visit to Churchill’s

A summer holiday in an obscure and remote corner of the Portuguese hinterland provided an excellent excuse for a day or two in Oporto en route. As we had children in tow there was only so much wine stuff we could really engage in, but Churchill’s (who work with my husband’s company in the UK) were utterly charming and welcoming to the the next generation of Wright-Muscat mini wine merchants.
