The excitements and excesses of the Bordeaux 2010 campaign are barely over and here we have the first news of the 2011 vintage from the wonderful Anthony Barton:
“For the moment everything points to yet another great vintage. The weather has been perfect with even a short spell of badly needed rain. For the moment we are having thunder storms, so anything could happen!”
We will of course be delighted if the wines are wonderful but the potential impact on pricing gives pause for thought.
